Abstract
We report the properties of Zn0.94Cu0.06O sintered film that was prepared by screen printing technique and followed by sintering temperature at 500 degrees C. The sample was characterized by XRD, SEM, PL and two probe techniques. The XRD pattern of the film shows polycrystalline with wurtzite structure along the preferred orientation (1 0 1). SEM image shows porous nature with granular shape. Photoluminescence spectroscopy of the Zn0.94Cu0.06O film showed a strong emission peak at 391 nm near the band edge along with a weak green-yellow emission peak spanning the range of 450 to 600 nm. The DC conductivity measurement shows decrease in resistivity with rise in temperature having activation of energy 0.63 eV.
